Île Seguin is an island at Boulogne-Billancourt, southwest of central Paris. According to Condé Nast Traveler, a new art center called Large will open there on October 17, 2026.

The island is around a 10-minute walk from the end of Métro line 9. For much of the 20th century, Renault operated an enormous factory on Île Seguin.

Large is a contemporary art center focused mainly on the French art scene. Its building covers 1.25 acres and has nearly 27,000 square feet of exhibition space. The main gallery is pillar-free and rises as high as 46 feet.

The building was designed by Catalan studio RCR Arquitectes, winner of the 2017 Pritzker Architecture Prize, together with French practice CALQ. Around 40% of the building will be accessible without a ticket.

Entry to Large's exhibitions will be free for visitors aged 26 and under. Full-price admission is 15 euros (around $16.80). Large is open Wednesday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with late opening until 9 p.m. on Fridays.

The inaugural exhibition is 'Moteur Imaginaire (Imaginary Engine)', curated by Cecilia Alemani. It features 120 works by 55 artists from 23 countries, including 17 new commissions. The exhibition runs from October 17, 2026, to March 7, 2027.

The wider Pointe des Arts development covers more than 13 acres. Parc Gauthier Mougin is planned to feature more than 30 sculptures. La Seine Musicale already hosts concerts and performances on the island, and a four-star hotel is planned for the island.
