Rebel Wolves Adds Animal Petting to The Blood of Dawnwalker in Update 1.1
The next update to The Blood of Dawnwalker brings new features, story options, and over 1,100 changes.

Rebel Wolves has announced that the next update to its game, The Blood of Dawnwalker, will add a feature called "directional animal petting." The studio shared the news in an update posted on X.
The petting feature is part of version 1.1 of the game. The game already has a directional combat system, which is similar to the one used in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Players aim their attacks in different directions during fights.
Update 1.1 will also bring a new Story mode with an additional combat assist. The existing Story mode will be renamed "Forgiving," so players can tell the two modes apart.
Players will be able to rework their abilities through the Draught of Mind Rebirth, a new option in this update. The update also includes improved combat targeting, better traversal (moving around the game world), in-game camera tweaks, and updates to FrameGen, a technology that helps make the game's pictures look smoother.
Rebel Wolves promises 1,100 changes in update 1.1. That is a large number of improvements for players to explore.
Looking ahead, the studio has said that the game's time mechanic might not appear in the sequel. A sequel to The Blood of Dawnwalker is already in development.
The first game sold 1 million copies in its first three days on sale, according to PC Gamer.
